VITICULTURE
Climate: A hot and temperate climate with more rainfall in winter than in summer. Average temperature of 16.5ºC with an average annual rainfall of 569mm.
Soils: Limestone-clay
Pruning: Double Guyot
Age of vines: 10 and 20 years
VINIFICATION
Hand harvested to boxes during the coolest hours of the day. After destemming the grapes are chilled, and then pressed. The must is decanted, and ferments with controlled temperatures (16-18º) in stainless steel tanks. After fermentation the wine is aged with bâtonnage over the fine lees, and then stabilised and filtered.
AGING
Part of the batch (Antão Vaz) aged in French oak during six months.
SERVING SUGGESTION
Should be consumed at 12ºC.
GASTRONOMY
Pairs to perfection with salads, seafood, fish and white meat.

TASTING NOTES
Colour: Intense, citric;
Aroma: Intense, complex, with notes of tropical fruits;
Palate: A wine with great volume, freshness and balance. Long finish, accentuating the initial aromas.
